In the Bucket List: Start a Business

bpi ka negosyo"Anong racket mo?"  everyone seems to dream of having their own business someday.  Moreso working parents, who barely have time for their children and want the flexibility having one's own business brings.

To most people, especially me, having a business to call my very own is a dream come true.  Nasa bucket list ko siya.  I have sold tons of stuff from chocolates back in grade 3 to wholesale shirts in college to wholesale prepaid cards shortly after college.  At ang mga seminar that I attended - diverse!  Buko and calamansi juice making in TESDA, I attended that.  Franchise of a gas station, I attended that too.  Worlds apart, right?

That's how eager I am to have my very own business.  In fact, until now, in my "Iphone Notes" is a note titled business ideas. Ang haba nya, mothers!

And that is also the reason why I love hearing success stories of entrepreneurs.  They rouse me to make the most out of my current business and fuel my desire to create new ones.

BPI through BPI Family launched the BPI Nego series.  It is a collection of 5 videos that feature the inspiring stories of Pinoys who were able to achieve success in business through franchising.  The people they chose and the stories they tell in a 4 minute video will surely inspire you as it had inspired me.  Kwentuhan lang.

I particularly liked "The Good Life" the story of the husband and wife who were once call center agents and are now very successful entrepreneurs owning 9 pharmacies in a span of 5 years!  Please watch it here -

O di ba, inspiring!  I like it when Julius said,  "Noon pa man I was pretty sure na gaganda ang buhay namin.  Problema ko lang back then hindi ko lang alam kung pa-paano."

We have the same predicament.  The only difference is, I say, "Noon pa man gusto ko na magka-business.  Problema lang hindi ko alam kung ano." 🙂

Which brings me to the idea of franchising.  It offers aspiring entrepreneurs a ready, stable and sound business because the franchisor has proven methods for success.  BPI Family has an online portal called BPI Ka-Negosyo that provides helpful online tools like the Franchise Finder.  In there,  you will find a list of BPI accredited franchise brands plus an instant BPI loan calculator.  And if capital is the only wall between you and the business of your dreams, BPI has the solution through the BPI Ka-Negosyo Franchising Loan.

Head on over to BPI Ka-Negosyo  and watch the entire collection of Ka-Negosyo videos! Be inspired! And take action!

Wishing you Entrepreneurial Success!
